Peace and grace people of the Imago Dei––

This weekend we celebrate HOMECOMING 2022 with two OUTDOOR WORSHIP services, Sunday, Sep 18th (10am & 4pm). Morning worship will begin 10am and the afternoon Gospel Jamboree will begin 4pm. A picnic-styled meal will be served between 1:00-3:30pm and the dress code for the day will be jeans and purple or black tops. Those who have Pray My Strength in the Lord t-shirts are encouraged to wear them. In morning worship, the Voices of Inspiration will share, and the afternoon Gospel Jamboree will feature guest choirs from York, PA (Mt Moriah Missionary Baptist Church Mass Choir), Damascus, MD (The Chosen Vessels), and our own Women of Worship. The Gospel Jamboree offering will benefit the sanctuary floor repairs. Both services will be Livestreamed via Meta (facebook).

The theme for the entire day will be “Speak Lord, Your People are Listening,” (1 Samuel 3:10), and the morning message is entitled, “Our Credentials,” inspired from 2 Corinthians 3:1-6 & 18. Please bring a blank mailing envelope (any size) with you to morning worship. Those watching via Online Livestream should also have a blank envelope ready during the morning message.

Finally, please feel free to bring lawn chairs, blankets and tents for seating. Since we will be outdoors for both services, we want all to be comfortable. The weather promises to be sunny and mid-80 degrees. Instead of sitting in vehicles, we want to assemble ourselves in an outdoor concert style arrangement. That said, come early enough Sunday morning to set up your area. (Service begins 10am!)

Food items can be prepared at your home or at the church, but please maintain all safety protocols.
