HIS peace and grace––
This weekend’s OUTDOOR WORSHIP and COMMUNION experience will begin 8:30am (Sunday, September 4th). PLEASE, dress comfortably as the colors for the day are all things Hawaiian. Also, keep cool water on hand to remain hydrated. The Voices of Inspiration will share in music ministry. An opening hymn, “Give Your Best to the Master” and closing hymn, “I’d Rather Have Jesus,” are appropriate bookends to the worship and message, The Heart of the Matter.
The message is inspired from Jeremiah 18:1-12, and will serve as a kickoff for our Fall 2022 Bible Study subject, Spiritual Formation. We again go to the writings, teachings and practice of Henri Nouwen, who will guide us in a seven (7) week study beginning Wednesday, Sep 14th in the subject. This study will be very interactive and should result in spiritual growth if the component concepts are understood and practiced regularly.
The service will be Live-streamed as well. Please read scriptures, the program bulletin and short reading attached (2 pdfs). When you open the short reading, you will need to rotate it 90 degrees to read. Some browsers like MS Edge allow you to easily accomplish this.
Those assisting in setup and ministry should arrive 7:30am.
Yours in Christ,
Amb Ross
