Tomorrow, Sunday, October 24th (8:30am) is Pastor Appreciation Sunday, and we will celebrate via Outdoor Worship on the church lawn and streamed LIVE via Facebook. PLEASE wear something PINK and/or BLUE to bring attention to Breast Cancer Month and Cancer awareness in general. The theme for the day is BE STRONG and VERY COURAGEOUS!Also, the Church is participating in two (2) fall missions to help mitigate food desserts and hunger in our area. The Thrivent Challenge Food Drive supports those in our county. We have partnered with St Luke Winter’s Lutheran Church and St Paul UMC in collecting canned goods and non-perishables now through Sunday, Oct 31st. The second mission is My Brother’s Keeper Fall Frolic, a late November virtual walk/run supporting the food distribution pantry of West Liberty UMC (Marriottsville). My Brother’s Keeper was started years ago by Strawbridge son, Nelson Dorsey.
